Architectural Restoration
Temples, monuments, stepwells and the everyday structures that rarely appear on any protected list. The aim is restoration that keeps a building in use and in its community, rather than sealing it off as an exhibit.

Aryavarta Heritage Foundation is dedicated to preserving our timeless heritage while uplifting lives through compassion, dignity and selfless service to communities in need.
The Meaning of Aryavarta
Aryavarta is an old name for the noble land. We read it as a description of conduct rather than of territory — nobility as restraint, learning, and care for what has been left in your keeping. It is a standard to work towards, not one we claim to have met.
Dharma and Seva
Dharma is duty: acting rightly with what is in your care. Seva is service given without expecting anything back. The two meet in this work — looking after what was handed down, and looking after the people it was handed to.

AryavartaHeritageFoundation
Three focus areas in Heritage Preservation, three in Nurturing Humanity — each a real part of the same mission, not a separate one.

02
Manuscripts, traditional knowledge and folklore — much of it held by practitioners and families rather than institutions. The purpose is to record it well enough that it outlives the people who currently carry it.

03
A craft survives while someone can still make a living from it. This work is about the livelihood as much as the technique — fair earnings now, and someone to teach next.

04
Access to schooling, and to what schooling alone does not teach. Scholarships and learning support, held together by the idea that an education should produce a thoughtful person as well as a qualified one.

05
Health camps, essential supplies and the ordinary support a neighbourhood needs and does not always get — decided with the community rather than for it.

06
Help during an emergency, and the longer, quieter work after attention has moved on. Relief, recovery, and rebuilding what a community needs in order to function.
